What's new in Clione
What changed in Clione, release by release. The newest release is at the top.
0.19.0 — 2026-10-06
New
- After an update, Clione now shows you once what changed in the new version, in your language, with a link to the full changelog.
- Owners and admins can now invite new teammates by email from Organization → Members; they join by accepting the invitation.
- BigCommerce merchants can now connect and verify their own subdomain for AI-readable files from Settings → Integrations.
- You can now turn the weekly task email off from Notifications, and choosing "No emails" stops it too.
Fixed
- Agent files served from a Shopify store (llms.txt, agents.json, product documents) now link correctly even when the store's app path differs from the default.
- Enrichment keeps working when one AI provider runs out of credit or rejects its key: Clione switches to its second provider and our team is alerted straight away.
- The light theme is easier to read: links, muted text and status messages now meet WCAG AA contrast, and form fields have a visible border.
- The dashboard's Spanish texts were reviewed and completed on the main merchant screens.
- The Products list now tells apart a product whose page is live but can't be bought ("Not purchasable") from one that isn't on your store at all ("Hidden" / "Unpublished"), and the availability filter uses the same rule.
- Store Settings now shows WooCommerce as the platform of a WooCommerce store instead of BigCommerce.
- The store chat panel now opens full height instead of a clipped box under the top bar.
- After an update, a tab you left open now offers to reload instead of showing untranslated text.
- Asking for more trial time now opens a short request form instead of a problem report.
Improved
- Our refund policy is now published and linked from every page footer.
0.18.0 — 2026-10-03
New
- AI Visibility can now show whether ChatGPT and Gemini still recommend your store when the shopper asks them to compare and pick one to buy, and who takes your place when they stop.
- Page tours for products, approvals, publishing and reports now open with a short video of the task, in your language.
- Clione now works out your store's sector from your categories after the first sync and shows it on the Overview, so you can confirm it or change it in one click.
- Category, collection and page lists now load page by page, so large catalogues open quickly.
- Every setup step and tour step now has "Ask about this step": the help assistant answers from that step's own guide, with sources, and can check the step on your store for you.
- You can now follow your support cases in the dashboard: see their status, read and reply to the team, and confirm when a problem is solved. You get an email when a person from the team replies.
- The welcome now says what it will actually do: no fixed question count, and "Finish and set up" when your store is already connected.
- The docs now have a short step-by-step tutorial for each core task -- connecting a store, syncing, enriching, reviewing, publishing, verifying, rolling back, reports, the FAQ widget and Pulse -- in English and Spanish.
- When the help assistant can't answer, you can open a case that already includes your conversation, the page you were on and any recent error -- you review it and confirm before anything is sent.
- Each store now has a setup checklist that checks your store itself -- from connecting it to your first published and verified change -- and opens the assistant or page that finishes each step.
- New accounts now get a short welcome that asks what you want from Clione, your platform and what your store sells, then takes you straight to connecting your store.
- Each main page now shows a short tour the first time you open it, and you can bring it back any time from the "?" button in the top bar.
- A new Help button on every page answers your questions about Clione from our documentation, always showing the source -- and when the docs don't cover it, it says so and lets you open a case.
- Long dialogs now scroll inside, so the confirm button is always within reach on small screens.
- While a catalogue sync runs, you now see how many products, categories and pages have been processed so far, not only the result at the end.
- Score my store has its own page: leave your store URL and email, and the report arrives within 24 hours.
- A product, collection or page you delete in your store now disappears from Clione too, after a short grace period in case the deletion was a mistake.
Fixed
- The warning shown before enriching an item with incomplete data now appears in your dashboard's language, and its buttons no longer get cut off.
- Something you delete in your store also disappears from what Clione serves to AI agents straight away, including its FAQs, and is never enriched again.
- Menus and panels that stayed dark in light mode, like the Publish signals picker, now follow the light theme.
- Help links across the dashboard now open the right documentation page instead of a page that does not exist.
- "Ask about this step" in a page tour now answers from that page's own guide, and the setup checklist's help link opens the right documentation page.
- Screens that still showed English text while the dashboard was set to Spanish are now fully translated.
- The branded reports page is now fully translated in Spanish.
- The help on the setup recommendations now uses the same labels you see on screen.
- The help panels on the Playground, the product feed card and the storefront-script warning show their explanations again.
Improved
- The "Enrich with AI" tutorial now shows exactly what you do in your dashboard, from the product page to the confirmation, with a video in English and Spanish.
- The tutorials and help pages now show real screenshots and step-by-step videos of the product, in English and Spanish.
0.17.0 — 2026-10-01
New
- You can now send your catalogue to ChatGPT shopping: paste the SFTP account OpenAI gives you and Clione uploads a fresh product feed every day.
- The weekly task email now reaches every owner of your organization, and each one carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Growth, Pro and Agency plans now include one hero product per store, checked every week in ChatGPT and Gemini, the two AI assistants Clione measures by default.
- Attribution -- which orders come from AI assistants and how enriched products sell -- is part of the Pro and Agency plans, in the dashboard and in branded reports.
- Your store overview now has a "This week" list of what to fix -- setup steps, questions where AI assistants stopped naming your products, products left out of your feed and hero products with no questions -- each one linking to the screen that fixes it.
- Each hero product now shows the attributes AI assistants quote for the competing products that beat it, with a link to every answer, and one click adds any of them to the product's next enrichment at no cost.
- While an experiment runs on your store, products that are its reference group are paused from publishing, and the product page tells you why.
- A new experiment report shows, per group of products, whether changing the product page, the feed or both made AI assistants mention and cite your products more than the untouched control group.
- Branded reports can now include an attribution section -- orders referred by AI assistants against the rest, and revenue on enriched products against the others -- with every figure's noise range, and anything unmeasured labelled as such instead of shown as zero.
- A new Attribution page compares sales from AI assistants with the rest, and sales of enriched products with the rest, with ranges that show when a difference may be noise and a plain list of what cannot be measured.
- Your product feed settings now show the last five builds, what each one left out and why, plus how to use the same feed in Microsoft Merchant Center and Meta.
- Paste any URL on clione.ai and get its AI-readiness score, the first thing to fix and how it compares with stores in your sector -- the same score the Clione Pulse extension gives.
- Agencies get a Client performance table: coverage, Pulse score and AI mentions for every client side by side, sortable by each figure.
- Your Merchant Center supplemental feed now fills color, material, size, gender and age group when your store states them.
- With Google Analytics connected, Clione now matches your orders to the visits that produced them and tells you which came from AI assistants, and which AI sources cannot be measured.
- Stores that sell photo and video accessories now get enrichment that cites load capacity, heights, plate standards and light output with their units, plus a few extra questions in Teach the AI about exactly those details.
- In Clione Pulse, once you register you can score your whole store in one click and get the full report by email.
- Your Merchant Center supplemental feed now carries Google's product category, but only when it matches Google's official list exactly.
- You can now ask questions about your store's catalogue in plain language from the dashboard; the assistant only reads your data and never changes anything.
- Clione now keeps a read-only copy of your last 30 days of orders, so it can show which sales came from AI assistants.
- After you score your store, you get a short follow-up with what to fix first and a reminder of your free trial -- and you can unsubscribe in one click.
- Each recommendation on your store Overview now says whether it is pending, done or needs attention, and the ones that need you stand out.
- AI Visibility is now part of every plan, and a "Scan now" button runs an extra scan whenever you need it -- after a re-enrichment, for instance -- with a monthly allowance that depends on your plan.
Fixed
- The free "How do LLMs see your products?" check now gives the same score as the Clione Pulse extension, broken down signal by signal with the fixes that matter most first.
- Stores that use their own enrichment prompt now also get Google's product category suggested for their Merchant Center feed.
- Resetting a product, category or page no longer restores a field to a value Clione wrote earlier — if the original value was never saved, that field is left exactly as it is.
- Undoing Clione's changes on a whole store now takes product signals off the storefront the same way as for categories, collections and pages.
- When a long enrichment finishes in the background and then fails, the dashboard now tells you it failed, and the credit is not charged.
0.15.1 — 2026-09-25
Fixed
- Switching between stores no longer leaves a copy of the "Get set up" checklist behind on the Store Overview.
0.15.0 — 2026-09-25
New
- Your entity lists now tell you when they are hiding something: "63 of 75 - 12 hidden", with one click to show the pages and categories you have hidden on your storefront.
- Products you delete in BigCommerce can now be removed from Clione safely: the clean-up refuses to run unless it can prove it saw your whole catalogue, and stops rather than deleting an implausible share of it.
- The Playground now has a full-screen button: open the bench as a full page in a new tab and get the whole viewport for your runs.
- Star ratings from your store's reviews now reach the product schema on BigCommerce, and on Shopify from the standard review metafields every major review app writes -- never a made-up rating.
- Your uploaded brand documents can now travel with each product, category, collection, page and FAQ -- only the few excerpts that matter to that item, on top of your voice sheet. Off by default; one switch in AI Training turns it on and tells you what it costs.
- Upload your brand manual once and Clione distils it into a short voice sheet that travels with every AI text -- your documents stay private, the sheet stays editable, and you always see what a regeneration would change before it replaces anything.
- Clione now watches its own AI generations and warns the team when cost per product jumps, when answers stop fitting the expected format, or when a provider starts failing -- with the exact trace attached, before anyone notices on the bill.
- You can now report a problem from anywhere in the dashboard -- the lifebuoy in the top bar, or straight from an error -- and we already know which store and page you were on.
- Every platform alert now has one shape and one channel, with an escalation policy so a real outage is never buried under noise.
- Headless Shopify storefronts (Hydrogen) can now render Clione's structured data, meta tags and FAQ server-side straight from metafields, look up signals by product handle, and get verified like any other store.
- Your store overview now checks its own setup against your store -- connection, permissions, the FAQ widget on your storefront and your brand instructions -- and hands you the one button that fixes whatever is off.
Fixed
- The breadcrumb Clione publishes for your product pages is now one search engines accept: every step carries a real link, and the trail follows your store's real category path instead of listing every category a product happens to belong to.
- Full-screen Playground is now truly full screen: no side menus, no top bar, just the bench and a way back.
- FAQ Browse now shows the name of the product the FAQ actually belongs to, and says so plainly when an entry points at something that is not in the store you are looking at.
- Rolling back a signal now updates every record it actually removed, and the Publish header no longer under-counts a live FAQ accordion on Shopify.
Improved
- Category, collection and content pages now publish their real storefront URL in the structured data Clione injects, and the preview in the dashboard shows exactly what the storefront carries.
- Clione Pulse 0.2.6: the scan now says how each schema.org type was found (JSON-LD, microdata or RDFa), so a PrestaShop store reads "Product (microdata)" instead of "no Product".
