Plans and what's included
Clione has four plan tiers: Starter, Growth, Pro, and Agency. This page is the customer-facing comparison. For exact entitlements and limits, see the Billing page in your dashboard — it shows the live, real-time entitlements your tenant has, including any add-ons.

What every plan includes
- Connect at least one BigCommerce or Shopify store.
- Sync products, categories/collections, and pages.
- Enrich entities (within your monthly quota).
- Auto-propagate signals to the storefront.
- Verify signals via the Verification page.
- Use the Pulse Chrome extension and view scans in the dashboard.

For agencies managing many brands. The enrichment quota is pooled across all stores in your org, so a slow month at one brand can be redirected to a busy month at another.
Add-ons (any plan)
If you blow through a single resource without needing to jump a full tier, buy an add-on from Billing → Add-ons:
- Extra enrichments (per 500-pack)
- Extra seat (per seat)
- Extra store (per store)
Add-ons are charged monthly and renew with your plan. Cancel an add-on any time — it lapses at the end of the current billing cycle.
Trial
New accounts start with a 14-day trial of the Growth plan. During the trial:
- All Growth features are unlocked.
- The "Powered by Clione" badge in widgets is forced on (same as Starter).
- At the end of the trial, your account auto-downgrades to Starter unless you've upgraded.
You'll get email notifications 7 days, 3 days, and on the last day of the trial.
Plan technical names (for developers)
In API responses and database fields you'll see the technical names of plans alongside the display names:

Per-platform plan considerations
The plan you pick affects how each platform integration behaves. Worth knowing:
BigCommerce
- The Schema Injector and FAQ widget auto-install rely on BC's Scripts API — available on all paid plans, no extra BC fee.
- Multi-storefront BC accounts (different channels under one BC store hash) count as one connected store in Clione.
- BC's built-in Reviews are pulled by all plan tiers.
Shopify
- The Theme App Extension is bundled with every Clione connection — no Shopify App Store fee.
- Multi-Market Shopify shops (e.g.
de.shop.com,us.shop.com) count as one connected store in Clione. Each Market's currency-appropriate pricing is rendered by the Shopify theme directly; Clione's JSON-LD uses the primary Market. - Third-party review apps (Judge.me, Yotpo, Loox, etc.) are pulled when their metafield integration is enabled — no plan gate.
Headless storefronts
- Headless storefronts (Hydrogen, Catalyst, Next.js) integrate via the
@clione/seoSDK on all plans. - Higher-tier plans get higher API rate limits on the SDK's underlying public endpoints.
